All course content was created by Kaae Rillos, a longtime CATIA instructor and automation developer.

  • Starting with CATIA V3 in 1990 and V4 in 1994, Kaae has used CATIA V5 since 2000 for machine design, part design, tool design, composite design and clean room composite manufacturing, surfacing, and NC programming.
  • He is the classroom CATIA instructor for Everett Community College and Pierce College, teaching these skills in CATIA V5.
  • Using VB.Net with CATIA V5, he has automated industrial processes for major aerospace companies.
  • His automation work includes 25 programs for the Boeing Advanced Development Composites Center, Gulfstream G-code automation that reduced a 9 week process to 3 days, composite layup automation for the SCRAM automatic tape layer, and the CATIA simulator you are about to download.
